These sessions are an excellent opportunity to go deeper into many aspects of your practice. They are customized on an individual basis and can be purchased as a single session or as a series. Whether it be mastering a particular pose or focusing on a problem area in the body, private sessions are a wonderful way to work through your specific needs. Pregnancy in Balance ** NEW **
Learn to harmonize your body and your mind during this precious time of creation in your life. We will use standing, seating, restorative and inverted poses appropriate for all stages of pregnancy. These poses will help to create space both horizontally and vertically in the pelvic area, ease digestive ailments and keep the body strong and flexible throughout your pregnancy. Breathe work and meditation will also be included to ease any mental or physical tension as well as assist you during the birthing process.
Exploring the Basics
Created for students new to yoga or who have taken 10 classes or less; you will learn appropriate modifications for a variety of sun salutations and yoga postures as well as ways to build symmetry in the body
The Next Level
For intermediate to advanced students; enrich your yoga practice by understanding the energetic and emotional dimensions of yoga postures; emphasis on hip-openers, back-bends, forward bends and inversions
50 Plus Yoga
Learn simple exercises that can easily be done out of your home to help increase blow flow and strengthen the immune system; understand how to use props such as a chair or the wall to release tightness in the body and enhance mobility in the joints
Breathe and Relax
Enjoy a calming session of Reiki energy healing, breathing techniques and meditation; also includes aromatherapy massage and an extended guided relaxation segment; open to all levels, especially those recovering from an illness or a high level of stress; beautiful complement to any yoga practice
Yoga for the Healthy Athlete
Great for any sports-specific tension in the body; targeted at creating flexibility in the hips, ham-strings, quadriceps, lower back and shoulders; also includes breathe work to increase mental focus and clarity; utilizes balancing postures to enhance muscular endurance and coordination
